Rosemary texted me about this a week ago and I managed to catch repeat. I'm a bit late posting details of this there, actually assumed others woud have picked up. But it is still availabe to watch on BBC iplayer.

It's a documentary in which Richard, who as we know not only keeps a diary but has had published as With Nails and also used for basis of his own movie Wah! Wah!. Here he looks at diaries of Joe Orton (which led to his death), Kenneth Williams (where he let loose his darker side), Shelia Hancock (coping with the death of her husband, John Thaw), Joss Ackland (who edited his wife's dairies after her death) and others.
Programme is one of three on theme but others are presented by different people. _________________ Take care.
